The Urban and spatial planning institute of Vojvodina participated on the 19TH INTERNATIONAL URBAN PLANNER’S EXHIBITION in three categories.
The professional council and the jury of the exhibition granted one first prize and one recognition prize to the Institute.
- First prize in the category number 3 (General regulation plans) got General regulation plan of Backa Palanka, authors Vesna Prosenica, diploma engineer of architecture and Judmila Jamusankov, diploma engineer of architecture. This project had been done in collaboration with the Backa Palanka municipality development agency.
- Recognition prize was given to Dragana Duncic, spatial planner for the Spatial plan of special purpose area of firs level road infrastructure corridor number 21 (Novi Sad-Ruma-Sabac). The plan have been done entirely by experts from the Institute.
Mr Joao Teixera, the president of European Council of Spatial Planners have attended the opening ceremony and gave a lecture where he addressed the challenges of the profession in the future.
The institute representatives on the exhibition were Mr Vladimir Zelenovic, Mr Perica Manojlovic and Mrs Vesna Prosenica as well as young architects Vladimir Pihler, Radovanka Skrbic, Mina Jevtic and Lana Isakov.
