Presentation of IPA projects involving the PC "Institute for town planning in Vojvodina"

The Projects “Rehabilitation Planning of Bácsalmás-Bajmok Cross-border Connecting Road” and “Rehabilitation Planning of Tiszasz-Djala Cross-border Connecting Road” from IPA CBC Programme Hungary-Serbia, were presented to public in the premises of PE "Water of Vojvodina" in Novi Sad.

The presentation was led by Director of the Institute, Vladimir Zelenović. In his address to the audience he briefly presented a chronology of activities within these projects, stressing the contribution of the leading partner from Hungary, the company Nemzeti Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt.

He also pointed out the importance of support given by the Government of AP Vojvodina, without which it would not be possible for the Institute to get involved in this project.



Development of road infrastructure in the area covered by these projects will allow a faster flow of goods and people, encourage economic development in the region and contribute to easier access to jobs, education and new markets.



Finally, it was pointed out that successful implementation of this project will form a base for new projects, for carrying out the works on rehabilitation and increased maintenance of these roads
